D'Angelico Guitars unveils Master Builder Series.
D'Angelico Guitars introduced its new line of Master Builder guitars featuring custom wound ThroBak pickups at Winter NAMM 2016. The Master Builder series are crafted in New York City and harken back to the early days of D'Angelico guitars. ThroBak is excited to have our pickups in these beautiful electric guitars.

The D'Angelico Master Builder semi-hollow model NY-SS (shown above) and D'Angelico NY-DC (double-cut) both feature two custom wound ThroBak DA-101 humbuckers. These ThroBak PAF humbucker pickups are a perfect compliment to the tonal complexities available in these exceptionally made electric guitars.

D'Angelico Master Builder New Yorker Teardrop Jazz Guitar
The D'Angelico Teardrop New Yorker jazz guitar is one of the most unique designs in guitar history. The first Teardrop was built at the request of musician Pete Girardi in 1957 who wanted a guitar that would be unique to his group, The Teardrops. The newest Teardrop New Yorker jazz guitar from D'Angelico is made in NYC and features a custom wound ThroBak DA-102B floating mini humbucker jazz pickup.
