Born and raised in Norway, blues guitar player Chris "Kid" Andersen moved to California to pursue a career in the blues in 2001 at the age of 21. Soon a staple of the thriving West Coast Blues scene Kid Andersen is now one of the industry's most innovative and versatile blues guitarists. Kid Andersen is also at the helm of Greaseland Studios. Grammy nominated as both a produced and musician Kid Andersen's Greaseland Studios has hosted a who's who of blues greats past and present. Currently playing lead guitar for Rick Estrin and the Nightcats, Kid Andersen fills the shoes of the legendary Little Charlie Baty with the same swagger, skill and style the band is known for. This is just the latest in a long string as lead guitarist credits for Kid Andersen that include greats like Terry Hanck, Charlie Musselwhite, John Nemeth and many others.
