Highlights: Pro players like John Nemeth sideman Bob Welsh, Prog. Blues player Joe Moss and and six string master and prolific youtuber Gregor Hilden put the SLE-101 pickups thought the paces. Fellow youtubers lespaul10 who plays through a great sounding Metro Amp JTM45, bigsbytracks, Noitpure and skydog46 also do an amazing job of showing the versatility of this set.
Highlights: This set of clips is an interesting mix of SLE-101 Plus pickups played through some great amps. Starting out with a Silverface Princeton Reverb with the Upstage Crew, followed by clips with vintage Gretsch and Airline amps and finishing with a 52'-57' conversion played through a 51' Tweed Deluxe. Appearances by a Bad Cat IIR and a Peavy Classic 30 also show both extremes of the modern amp price spectrum.
Highlights: Nick Moss and Kid Andersen! Really that is all I have to say. Both of these greats show these pickups off with stellar chops. They both have an exceptional knowledge of blues history and it shows whenever they play. Two of my all time favorites.
Highlights: Master amp maker George Metropoulos shows that you don't need a high output pickup to get killer rock tones. Playing a DT-102 set through one of his expertly crafted amps calls up the tone of the gods! Youtuber aaronZ28 plays through a real Trainwreck amp among others to round out the clips.
Highlights: So much here to see! Youtuber Swankmotee uses the Overdrive Boost to get him into Jeff Beck land like no other player I have ever heard! Kid Andersen rips trough a solo while playing for Charlie Musselwhite that shows why he is so sought after by greats like Musselwhite, Rick Estrin and John Nemeth.... Kid also tweaks ratty tones from the Overdrive Boost while playing You Ain't Too Old with John Nemeth. Also Gerry Hundt calls up Houndog Taylor retro tones with the ODB. Gearmandude and Pro Guitar demos show the versatility of the ODB.
Highlights: Great demo by Pro Guitar Shop riff master Andy! These demos show why the ThroBak Stone Bender MKII is THE pedal for punching in classic ZEP tones from either a Les Paul or Telecaster.
Highlights: Another amazing demos by Andy of Pro Guitar Shop. This is a deceptively simple pedal but under skilled supervision you can get all those classic germanium Rangemaster and silicon Zonk Machine based tones that we all know and love.
